Davao
Davao City, located in the southeastern part of Mindanao, is the largest city in the Philippines in terms of land area and the most populous in Mindanao.
The city is nicknamed the "Durian Capital of the Philippines" because its rich volcanic soils are perfect for growing the freshest and tastiest durians. Apart from this, Davao City also houses the highest mountain in the country - Mt. Apo.

DURIAN
Known as the "King of the Fruits", durians are grown abundantly in Davao City because of the city's rich volcanic soils and ideal tropical climate.
The durian's husk is a yellow-green color with large, light brown spikes which turn darker as the fruit gets riper. This perfectly complements the sweet, soft yellow color of its flesh.
