South Cotabato is a landlocked province located close to the southern tip of the Mindanao Region. It used to be a part of Davao City until it became a separate province in 1914, during which settlers laid the foundation of the bustling center it is today. Dubbed as the "Land of the Dreamweavers", the province is home to the T'boli Tribes who weave abaca textiles into intricate designs as part of their spiritual traditions. Apart from this, South Cotabato is also frequented by naturelovers for its many lakes, waterfalls, and plantations.
